Hi, Benoit! The rule concerning participation in school sports was NOT made by Rotary. Instead, it is made by the New York Board of Regents which sets the policies for schools in New York State. The rule is that no student -- American or foreign exchange student -- is allowed to play a sport on a school team if that student has already graduated from high school. The reason for the rule is to make the competition fair for high school students. I hope that answers your question.
