Welcome to the District 7150 World of Youth Exchange

The Rotary District 7150 Youth Exchange Program is sponsored by the 46 Rotary Clubs located in central New York State, a diverse region of urban, suburban, and rural cities, towns and villages. Located in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains, the district has several colleges, museums, theaters and sports facilities.  We are affiliated with the Rotary International Youth Exchange program. The Rotary Clubs sponsor 30-40 high school students to study abroad and live with host families in a foreign country for one year.  As a true exchange program, we host an equal number of students from 20 – 25 countries who come to District 7150 to study in the USA.  Each student has a Youth Exchange representative from his/her sponsoring Rotary Club living in the same community who provides day to day oversight of the club program and support to the student.  Scholarships are available to qualifying students to cover a portion of the costs.  Rotary also provides a monthly stipend to every exchange student.  On our site you will find information about our youth exchange program, the application process, how to contact us and comments by our exchange students.
